Day 3

The pieces are starting to come together now.
Iv'e assembled some classic black BDU's, available basically anywhere for about $20 each (top & bottom). I found a vest on eBay for about $30. Def cheap quality but the real rigs run a little high.
The extra pouch came from a surplus store for like $15.
The tall boots I have had for about 15 years. They are Gripfast brand and ran $240 at the time.
The shorter boots ran just under $200 at a local surplus store.

The vest and pouches of the same color all came from eBay at @ $30.
The green pouches came from a local surplus store for about $10 each.
According to the innerwebs the material they're made of can be dyed. So black it will be.
Although, I have some friends who might go ISA. I may save it for them.
Black 'Rit' dye can be found at Wal-Mart for about $1.35. You just dissolve it in hot water and dump in your fabric. I have used it before with great success when my buddies and I made our own ghillie suits.

Scavenged a few more accessories. You can never have enough masks. Those come from my work for free but they're not too pricey at the Home Depot. That's where I picked up a sump-pump hose for like $20.
The goggles and subsequent orange lenses came from http://www.historicalemporium.com for @ $20 all together.

Now there are some really simple plans to make an LED circuit for the goggles. Radio Shack has all the gear for just a couple bucks.

Yup, its that easy.
