Day 1

I started with the helmet.
After narrowing it down to the German M35, M40, and M42, I began shopping the usual outlets. I ended up paying 60GBP to http://www.epicmilitaria.com .It arrived in the US after about 2 weeks.
I'm in the process of painting the helmet a flat black finish.

I found this template on the web. Once the black paint is dry I will create a stencil and apply text to the helmet. I haven't decided what it will say yet.
